NMA Daily Childcare Schedule

 6:00 a.m. - 7:30  a.m.

Childcare Center  Greet parents and children/students  

 Childcare doors will remain locked at all times.

Students will be allowed to eat a light breakfast brought by parent until 7:15 a.m.
Breakfast will not be allowed after 7:15 a.m. due to transitioning into classrooms.

K3, K4, K5, and Full-time  children will remain in Childcare. Staff will escort a.m. kindergarten in childcare to their class.  A.M. childcare will have restroom break and get ready for Bible Class.

Grades 1-8: ALL STUDENTS will be required to go to the lunchroom and remain until the 7:30 a.m. bell.

 

AM CHILDCARE (8 am - 12 pm)

8:00 ~ 8:30 ~ "Bible Time Blessings" Class
8:30 ~ 9:00 ~ Outside Play (weather permitting)
9:00 ~ 9:15 ~ Snack and Restroom Break
9:15 ~ 10:15 ~ Class/Activity Time
10:15 ~ 11:00 ~ Morning Quiet Time/Restroom/Prepare for lunch
11:00 ~ 11:30 ~ Lunch (Lunches brought by parents must be here by 10:45)
11:30 ~ 12:00 ~ Restroom/Clean up Lunch/Kindergarten

P.M. CHILDCARE (11 am- 3 pm)

11:00 ~ 11:30 ~ Lunch/Restroom Break (Lunches brought by parents must be here by 10:45)
11:30 ~ 12:00 ~ "Bible Time Blessings"
12:00 ~ 12:30 ~ Outside Play
12:30 ~ 2:00 ~ Restroom/Nap Time
2:00 ~ 3:00 ~ Classroom/Activity Time/3:00 Carline/End of School Day

AFTER SCHOOL CARE (3 pm - 6 pm)

3:00 ~ 3:30 ~ Afternoon snack/Restroom Break
3:30 ~ 4:30 ~ Monday ~ Mrs. Manners Class
                     Tuesday ~ Karate -enrolled students/Others Free Play or playground
                     Wednesday ~ Music Class
                     Thursday ~ Spanish for enrolled students during their scheduled time
                     Friday ~ Free Play
5:30 ~ 6:00 ~ ALL CHILDREN IN CHILDCARE BUILDING

AFTER-SCHOOL CARE  (Grades 1 thru 8)

3:00 ~ 3:30 ~ Snack, restroom, sharpen pencils (Snack bar and machines close at 3:15)
3:30 ~ 4:00 ~ Homework Time (Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday)
                     Free Play (Wednesday and Friday)
4:00 ~ 4:30 ~ Activity Time (Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday)
                     Free Play (Wednesday and Friday)
4:30 ~ 5:30 ~ Blacktop or Playground Time
5:30 ~ 6:00 ~ ALL CHILDREN IN CHILDCARE BUILDING


There will be a scheduled activity Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  The activities will be as follows:
Monday ~ American Idol Karaoke Competition
Tuesday ~ Game Day (Group, Individual, Indoor/Outdoor)
Thursday ~ Teachers' Choice (Fear Factor, Survivor, games, movies, etc.)

 
* All parents must come in and sign out their child.  Should bad weather occur, children will remain in the lunchroom until numbers go down.  Then children will combine in the main childcare building.

* Homework time is provided for students to do written work.  Supervised reading, study, etc. needs to be done at home.

* Snack time is from 3:00 ~ 3:30. All snack machines shut down at 3:15.  Students are allowed to bring snacks from home.  Should students go to clubs or tutoring, they should bring a snack from home since they will be unable to buy snacks after 3:15.

* Any notes giving students permission to leave afterschool with anyone not listed on your registration form or to go to any activity MUST be brought directly to the Afterschool teachers.  Please mark these notes to the attention of Afterschool Care to ensure that the note has been received. YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LEAVE WITHOUT A NOTE.
