Northside Methodist Academy opened in the fall of 1975 with grades 1-6 as a ministry of Northside Methodist Church.  NMA is a private, Christian school designed to provide a Christian environment which will nurture the students understanding of the world, school subjects, and also the Christian faith.  The primary objective and purpose of Northside Methodist Academy is to train the students in the knowledge of God and the Christian way of life while giving every student an excellent education.  The teachers of Northside Methodist Academy realize the solemn responsibility before God in molding the life and character of each of their students in order to give a good foundation for each child's future.
