IMPORTANT TRAFFIC NOTES

For the safety of everyone involved, please abide by the rules listed below.

  1. Do not let your child(ren) out in front of the Elementary Building.  Please pull forward, as far as possible, to the crosswalk and our carline workers will help your children out of your vehicle.
  2. Please do not park your car in any of the traffic lanes before 8:00AM.  If you need to deliver something to a classroom, pull into a "Visitors" parking space.
  3. No driver should ever exit their vehicle during morning or afternoon traffic.
  4. Please DO NOT use you cellular phone while driving through carline.
  5. Parents and students are reminded that they are not to drop off and pick up students in the back parking lot (behind the gym) or in the lot beside the gym.  You are to pick up your student in carline in front of the school.  If you are helping with carline duty, please do not come into the high school parking lot.
  6. For the safety of our students we ask that you please do not pull onto the black top area in front of the lunchroom to drop off lunches, visit the library, etc.  Elementary P.E. takes place here and students use this area to walk to and from class.
  7. We ask that you do not park along Redmond Rd. adjacent to the Fine Arts Building.  By parking here, you are blocking the vision of those exiting from the driveway.  Please pull into a parking space.
  8. Please follow the directions of the traffic personnel...they are there for your safety, and the safety of our children.

9.     Severe Weather Policy: If weather conditions in the immediate area have any lightening during traffic times, we will close traffic operations until the lightening passes.
The staff and volunteers will be located to a safe area and we will not escort students to or from vehicles during these times. Parents, please be patient during severe weather. Our students, staff, and volunteers must be kept safe during severe weather and must take first priority.

10. STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE CELLPHONES DURING CAR LINE. THIS POLICY WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

Box Tops for Education and Campbell's Soup Labels

Remember to save your Campbell's Soups labels, and the Boxtops for Education found on Betty Crocker products.  NMA receives credits from these two  companies to buy much needed items and equipment for the school.  Send them in with your child to their homeroom teacher.  We have several contests throughout the year...so keep 'em coming!

CELL PHONE POLICY

All cell phones must  be turned in to the main office for elementary students or the high school office for high school students in the mornings. High school students may leave their phones in their car.
 They can pick them up at 3:00 pm.***STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE PHONES DURING CAR LINE. THIS POLICY WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
