Our Elementary Department is composed of grades K3-6. There is a Supervisor for Lower Elementary (K3-2nd grade) and a Supervisor for Upper Elementary (grades 3-6). We offer classes for K3-K5 from 8:00 till 12:00. This year we are extending our K5 for those families who wish to take advantage of an all day kindergarten class. We have Mrs. Barnes and Mrs. Hughes returning and have added a third class by transferring Mrs. Burke from second grade to kindergarten. We will still offer childcare for K3 and K4 students who remain at school all day. We are currently planning on two homerooms for the other elementary classes. Our Elementary curriculum is mostly composed of A Beka. We have completed a transition to A Beka Math curriculum from Saxon Math for all of elementary. Our staff is highly qualified and will always make sure the students understand the lesson before moving on. Enrichment classes that are offered to Elementary students include, Art, Music, P.E., Computer, and Spanish. The Library is also used by these students on a weekly basis, and the students participate in the Accelerated Reader Program offered by the Library. The students also attend a weekly Chapel service.
