FLU policies at NMA

In an effort to minimize the spreading of the FLU here at NMA, we are asking all parents to follow these procedures when it comes to your student(s) health.

Due to the recent increase in cases of flu virus, strep throat and stomach virus please check your child for fever before sending them to school if they are not feeling well. If your child is sick he or she should not return to school until they are fever and symptom free for 24 hours without medication.
These precautions will help us control the spread of illness and keep our students as healthy as possible.

Thank you for your cooperation,

Terri Dennis, RN

NMA encourages parent to take your student(s) to the doctor before bringing them back to school.  However, it is not mandatory, so they only need a written note from a parent to be excused.

Again, we appreciate your cooperation in this matter and pray that our students stay healthy and strong, but should they become ill with a cold or FLU, we pray that the Lord heal them quickly.
