Northside Parents and Families,
Due to the recent swine flu outbreak in the US we all need to work together here at NMA to keep our children safe. Please watch your child closely for any signs of flu or other illness. Below is a check list released by the Center for Disease Control of symptoms linked to the swine flu:
Anyone experiencing a fever and one or more of the above symptoms should call their doctor.
If any of these symptoms are present in your child please keep them home to prevent the spread of germs. Students should be fever free without medication for 24 hours before returning to school.
Good hand washing is the key to preventing the spread of germs. Please work with our teachers and encourage your child to always wash or sanitize their hands before eating. Help children to remember to cover their mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing and to wash hands frequently.
The staff here at school will be taking extra precautions to keep classrooms clean and sanitized. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter. Please pray for the continued health and safety of all our students and families.
