Truth — Living and loving according to the truth
"Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth." (John 17:17, ESV)
The calling of every person is to love God and others. That is a clear and noble goal, yet it must be according to God's absolute truth found in the Bible. "For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome." (1 John 5:3, ESV)
Training — Relationally training in all of life, for all of life
"And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." (Dt. 6:6-7, ESV)
We are called to training in righteousness and faithfulness in all of life, and this is to be done in community. This begins in the home, as well as in the household of God, with every Christian committing to meaningful involvement in a faithful local church. Christian schools uniquely come alongside of the home and the church to educate and make disciples.
Transformation — Christ-centered education for transformation
"He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit."(Titus 3:5, ESV)
We are called to know God and be conformed to Christlikeness by being forgiven through faith in Jesus Christ and his substitutionary death on the cross and resurrection. Only God can save souls and cause us to be born again. We are dependent on God to transform hearts, transform minds by truth, and transform every aspect of our lives as we partner with him for his glory.
