See the following "Elementary" dress code changes for the 2025-26 school year:

 Girls Clothing must be clean and free from holes, frayed edges, and tears. Clothing must not be tight or form fitting.

• TOPS  All tops must have a collar and sleeves. Styles include polos, blouses, button downs, sweaters, regular and mock turtlenecks in solid colors only. • Northside logo or a small manufacturer’s logo about the size of a quarter is permitted. • Dresses are not permitted except for polo dresses which are allowed for grades K3-4th grade. Jumpers and polo dresses must be worn with shorts underneath. Jumpers must be worn with a collared shirt.

• BOTTOMS Slacks, shorts, skirts, skorts, or jumpers are allowed in any solid color. • No form of denim or leggings are allowed. • Length of shorts, skirts or skorts must come no shorter than 4 inches above the top of the knee cap.

• SWEATERS, JACKETS, AND SWEATSHIRTS  Approved school top must be worn under all approved sweaters, jackets, and sweatshirts • Only sweatshirts with a Northside logo or solid in color are allowed. Any non-Northside logo may not be larger than a quarter.

• SHOES AND ACCESSORIES  Sandals, Crocs, and flip flops are permitted, but no shower shoes are allowed. • Accessories must be modest and non-distracting to the learners around them. • Athletic shoes are required for PE

• OTHER NOTES No tongue piercing, no body piercing, or tattoos of any kind on exposed skin while the student is enrolled at Northside. • Sunglasses and hats are not to be worn inside classroom or any building on campus. • Hair is to be worn so that it is neatly maintained. Hair should be worn out of the eyes. No extreme hair- cuts are allowed.

• * Administration reserves the right to decide on the appropriateness of dress not covered by this code.

• BOTTOMS  Slacks or shorts. • Colors—All solid colors are allowed, no denim or athletic materials. • Length of shorts, must come no shorter than 4 inches above the top of the knee cap. • All pants and shorts must be worn at waist level.

• SWEATERS, JACKETS, AND SWEATSHIRTS  Approved school tops must be worn under all approved sweaters, jackets, and sweatshirts. • Only sweatshirts with a Northside logo or solid in color are allowed. Any non-Northside logo may not be larger than a quarter.

• SHOES AND ACCESSORIES  Athletic shoes may be worn at any time. • Sandals, Crocs, and flip flops are permitted, but no house or shower shoes are permitted. • Sunglasses, caps or hats may not be worn in the classrooms, chapel, cafeteria or any building on campus but are permitted outside.

• OTHER NOTES No tongue piercing, no body piercing, or tattoos of any kind on exposed skin while the student is enrolled at Northside. • Hair is to be worn so that it is neatly maintained. Hair should be worn out of the eyes. No extreme haircuts are allowed. • The growth of facial hair is not permitted. Sideburns should not come below the bottom of the ear. Students will be written up and sent to the nurses’ station to shave unpermitted hair growth. • Sunglasses and hats are not to be worn inside classroom or any building on campus.
