Elementary Reading List:

4th Grade - Mr. Popper's Penguins, by Florence & Richard Atwater

5th Grade - The Magician's Nephew, by C.S. Lewis

6th Grade - A Horse and His Boy, by C.S. Lewis

Summer Reading is required for grades 4th, 5th and 6th and will be used in class for the first term of school.  Students need to bring their copies with them to class.

7th - 12th grade English use the Bob Jones Literature curriclum which encompasses various genres and formats that align with Alabama state standards.  The English teacher may assign additional reading using novels in the classroom from a list approved by the school board to enhance a student's learning.

Dual Enrollment English Composition I and II - no novels covered, only essays, short stories and poetry as directed by the instructor.
