Northside Academics

The teachers at Northside Methodist Academy realize the important responsibility before God in molding the life and character of each of our students in order to give a good foundation for each child’s future. All students K3 thru 12th grade will spend each day in class studying God's word. They will attend chapel once a week to celebrate God’s greatness through song and hear God’s word explained & made applicable to their everyday lives.   Memorizing God’s word does more than just cause us to get into God’s word; it causes God’s word to get into us.

In our elementary classes, we utilize the ABeka curriculum program for most disciplines. K5-6th grade also have Bob Jones Science, and upper elementary classes use Saxon math. The elementary classes will also enjoy the following enrichments weekly; art, music, computer, library, Spanish, and physical education.

The junior high students will continue to be challenged with new teachers and new curriculum. These students will have an in-depth training in core subjects. Seventh graders take an exploratory class where they rotate every nine weeks from music, art, Spanish, and computer.  Eighth graders complete their high school computer credit while still in 8th grade.  Here at Northside Bible is an everyday subject taught by highly qualified faculty members.

In the high school, grades 9-12, the students will choose either a regular track or an honors track which includes 2 years of Spanish. Our school also offers advanced placement classes which can be turned into college credit. Some of our students are allowed to take courses at colleges, and we now offer several Dual Enrollment classes here on campus during the school day. We have a fantastic fine arts department and offer band, digital media, yearbook, home economics, praise & worship, and art.

We, along with our faculty and staff, want to thank you for entrusting your children with us. If you ever have any questions, please contact us through the school office and we will get back with you as soon as we can.

Blessings,
